as stated in the title, and already commented on by other buyers, these Vans have both an undeniable aesthetic advantage, but are disappointing on wear and tear. personally, in terms of looks, i love them. this is my second pair in 2 months, they're very light, comfortable from the 1st hour, supple, have a removable PopCush sole, the suede (grey for my part) ages well with patina and the stitching is solid. in fact, the whole upper part of the shoe is perfect. what's really disappointing, however, is the underside of the shoe: the outsole wears out very quickly, and the Vans anti-slip structure almost disappears in plain sight! they're not waterproof either, so when you walk around on a rainy day, they get wet and moldy in places... so think twice before buying. personally, i love the look, and it's hard to live without them. which is why, as i said above, this is already my second pair in such a short space of time. but what a shame the quality isn't up to scratch!
