This shoe has a great flick and grips the board well. The only two faults that let me down were that the stitching on the upper broke very fast and left a huge hole in the shoe two weeks into skating it. Also, the sole of the shoe has deep holes that rocks can get stuck in and you can't really get them out. Many times the rocks stuck in my shoes would scratch up my grip just from standing on my board. It skates very well though.

lightweight shoes, while being more stiff and protective compared to classic vulcanized vans shoes. I think definitely one of the best vans.
