The Vans Skate Classics skate shoes
The Vans Skate Classics Features
The Vans Skate Classics are all about skateboarding. A combination of durable materials, energy-return cushioning, and classic style. Check out the new features:
Grip & Boardfeel - the new Waffle sole 2.0
The Waffle sole 2.0 features a deeper profile, making the outsole more durable with a longer-lasting grip. In addition, a heel stiffener provides resilient stability without affecting boardfeel and control. All Skate Classic shoes have insoles with SickStick rubber compounds for optimal grip.
More durability & breathability - Vans Duracap
The Skate Classics features a redesigned Duracap for each model. Duracap technology is an underlying rubber layer on the toe section that provides additional durability to the skate shoes. The new Duracap guarantees durability where it's needed and still lets your feet breathe.
Endless skate sessions - PopCush insoles
PopCush is Vans' most advanced insole with energy-return material – excellent cushioning included. Thanks to the thoughtful design, the boardfeel doesn't even fall by the wayside. Skate for days!
Flick & Durability - Revised Foxing Tape
For the Vans Skate Classics shoes, the vulcanized soles' double foxing tape has been raised a bit to offer more durability. The revised texture gives the Skate Classics their own vintage look.
Perfect fit & comfort - tongue straps & heel cap
The tongue straps improve the fit of the skate shoes and ensure that the tongue doesn't slip. The heel cap has also been redesigned for a more comfortable fit.
"For those who know" - the new design
You can recognize Skate Classic shoes from Vans not only by the "Skate" in the product name but also by its details. Look for the checkerboard flag and the "Vans Skateboarding" branding on the heel and insole. This way, when you buy your new Vans, you're making sure you're getting a pair of Skate Classics.
