Independent and determined right from the start - Real Skateboards
Real is now one of the oldest existing skateboard brands. This rock of a company, headquartered in San Francisco, dates back to a time when skateboarders did not have much say in the industry. Above all, decks had to sell, and it wasn’t about trying to please the skaters. This is exactly why Tommy Guerrero and Jim Thiebaud decided to go against the grain in the early 1990s.
When the two of them saw their time at Powell-Peralta coming to an end, they took things into their own hands and founded a company that would reflect the real and raw character of skateboarding. With the help of skateboard legend Fausto Vitello, who is, among other things, the father of the world-renowned Thrasher Magazine, Real Skateboards was able to establish themselves in a short period of time.

Real’s main message is not only reflected the products, but also in the videos from the brand. More than ten strips, fully packed with amazing skateboarding, should at the very least convince you that Real Skateboards knows what they’re doing, much like the team that represents Real on the streets all over the world.
Here, true legends such as Keith Hufnagel (RIP), Max Schaaf and Dennis Busenitz tear it up, along with the likes of Ishod Wair, Mason Silva, Jack Olson, Chima Ferguson, Kyle Walker, Zion Wright, Harry Lintell, Nicole Hause, Tanner Van Vark, Patrick Praman & Hermann Stene.
With their timeless board graphics, Real Skateboards also impresses with new boards every year. Designs like the "Oval" have been part of the catalogue for years and have definitely earned their spot. In addition, there are some deck constructions from Real that offer you features to give you advantages on the board.

Skating for a good cause - Actions REALized
Since 2010, Real Skateboards has been supporting non-profit projects and foundations inside and outside of the skateboarding scene. A portion of the profits earned from sales of the Action REALized Decks goes to various projects, such as children's hospitals and the Red Cross. With the purchase of any of these decks, you not only get a 1A processed board, but also give back. Doesn’t get any better than that, does it?
