Blind Skateboards was founded by none other than Mark Gonzales and has been in business since 1989. Although Gonzales has nothing to do with the company anymore, Blind still stands for first-class skateboards and is managed by the renowned Dwindle Distribution.

Blind Skateboards – A brand with a rich history

With Blind, you've seen and experienced almost everything. Especially the numerous team videos of the company made an incredibly important contribution to the skateboard culture. With “Video Days”, released in 1991, Blind created one of the classics par excellence. It features parts by Mark Gonzales, Jason Lee, Rudy Johnson, Guy Mariano and Jordan Richter. It was one of the first videos to portray modern street skating, which was also largely driven by the Blind pros of the time.

A must-see is Mark Gonzales' part, which is still considered a source of inspiration for many skateboarders, from pro to nostalgic. It was followed just a year later by “Tim and Henry's Pack of Lies”, shot primarily with Tim Gavin and Henry Sanchez. Throughout the 1990s, Blind grew to become one of the largest manufacturers of skateboards.

Also great is the skating of the current team. Under contract are namely some of the greatest experts in their field. Jordan Maxham, Cody McEntire, Micky Papa and TJ Rogers are all on the road with Blind Decks.

The ability to constantly reinvent themselves is certainly a factor in Blind's many years of success. This includes bringing new talent on board time and time again. In recent years, Nassim Lachlab, Jake Ilardi and Sora Shirai have been signed up for this purpose.
