\r\n\t\t\t\tThe special feature of SKF bearings is that the back of the bearings is sealed. Other brands leave their bearings open on this side or use shields, as on the front. SKF bearings have the advantage that possible contaminants from this side won’t find their way into the bearings’ inside. Don’t worry, the shields on the front can be removed normally, allowing you to clean the bearings as usual.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\tAt the beginning I needed a little time to get used to the SKF standard bearings, because they roll very quietly at first. However, this is not a shortcoming, quite the opposite \u2013 the bearings are more lubricated than you might be used to comparing many other bearings in skateboarding.\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tThe grease in the bearings has a protective effect here. Because as you probably know, the biggest enemies of bearings are dirt and moisture, which penetrate into the interior of the bearing, contaminate it or cause rust. In the worst case, this impairs rolling performance by increasing friction on the inside.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\"SKF\r\n\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tAll in all, I tested the new SKF bearings about three months, have not cleaned them once and am still very satisfied with them. Nothing grinds, falters or suggests that I will need new bearings in the near future.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t
