\r\n\t\t\t\tCompared to its big brother, the Bruin React from Nike SB has got some small design updates. The discreet swoosh on the side has given way to a distinctive logo. \r\n\t\tThe Nike React foam<\/a> was originally developed to reduce injuries during running. The Bruin React insole is both lightweight and responsive. According to Nike SB, the new cupsole design of the Bruin React is more flexible than other cupsoles. The original herringbone pattern of the outsole has been modified in key areas for improved grip and durability. Small perforations on the inner heel are designed to provide optimal breathability.\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tThe Nike SB Bruin React is very light, with a relatively slim cut and looks like a classic Nike sports shoe. As is typical for Nike SB skate shoes, the Bruin React has a very tight at first – especially in the midfoot area. However, after a short time I had the feeling that this was a custom-made shoe; it fit my foot extremely well.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\"Nike\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tIf you have wide feet or simply prefer more mobility, it might be a good idea to buy the model half a size larger. The suede upper is velvety from the get go; I didn’t have the feeling that I had to break the shoe in first.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t

\r\n\t\tPerformance: boardfeel and grip in the Nike SB Bruin React\r\n\t<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\tDuring the first session I got along effortlessly with the shoe after only a few minutes. The tight fit made sure that I was never afraid of rolling my ankle or losing my footing.\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tDurable suede in the front area is a must-have for me when it comes to skate shoes, as it provides the necessary grip for flip tricks. The upper of the Bruin React does everything right in this sense. The soft nylon upper at the midfoot and heel gives the new Bruin the feel of a real sports shoe. Whether street or transition skating – I was always pleasantly surprised and am absolutely satisfied with the performance of the shoe.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tI’ve been skating in Bruin React for about 20 hours and I’m impressed with the durability. The wear and tear can be seen in the typical places on the forefoot. While the cupsole shows normal wear, in my opinion, the suede is rather roughened. The shoe is still far from getting any holes. \r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t

\r\n\t\t\t\tI have nothing to complain about regarding how the profile of the outsole wore down. Throughout the course of the test, the shoe continuously adapted to my foot and tended to become more comfortable – without losing its tight fit.\r\n\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t
