Where We Come From” – a new DVD, a familiar feeling and eight riders from five different countries. Now online at our shop.

Where we come from - DVD

Going out skateboarding, friendship, and travelling the world. Aren’t these the three piles on which skateboarding is built? The commercial haze that too often covers a clear sight of a whole scene and keeps pushing misguidance making too many forget about the core ethics of a passion for this lifestyle. But, skateboarding is too big, too strong, and too beautiful to have its head twisted by the generation marketing. Skateboarding is and will forever be just that: Skateboarding!

Where we come from - DVD

Just as a prove, Lucas Fiederling released his film “Where We Come From” last summer. Without the main support of a seeming provider of energy drinks, he managed to produce a little masterpiece. Not only his passion and determination is responsible for this, but also his orientation towards classic skateboard videos. Skatevideos that had one goal: To capture and feature skateboarding in its purest form. Classic, simple, and raw! In addition to that there is a skate team of eight riders (Chris Pfanner, Axel Cruysberghs, Marty Murawski, Eniz Fazliov, Niklas Speer von Cappeln, Phil Zwijsen, Samu Karvonen, and Willow) which assembled from five different countries to work on this project for a good four years. A long time, in which they traveled together, discovered new places and curbs, and skated a lot. They visited Europe, USA, Canary Islands, Israel, Morocco and South Africa and it feels like they were everywhere.

From now on you get “Where We Come From” on DVD together with a lovingly designed booklet. With its 106 pages this photobook is definitely something for fans and collectors. The book documented their great journey with a lot of photos, texts and background information.

If you want to show your parents and your skeptical relatives the good life on your skateboard we recommend you this movie.

It’s worth it!
